Privacy policy

Prosper ai is operated by Scaler Limited, a New Zealand company. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

• Account details: your name, email address, organisation and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile Google shares with us.
• Your content: the proposals, templates, images, brand assets and prompts you create or upload.
• Billing details: your plan, invoices and billing address. Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage and device data: pages and features you use, browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, and error reports.
• Support messages and feedback you send us.
• Waitlist sign-ups: the email address you give us to hear about launch.

When one of our customers sends you a proposal, we process your information on their behalf. That includes your name and email address, when and how often you open the proposal, which sections you read, your device type and approximate country. If you sign, we record your signature, name, the time of signing, your IP address, browser details and approximate location, so there is a reliable record of the agreement.

The customer who sent the proposal decides how that information is used. For questions about it, please contact them first. You can also reach us at hello@weprosperai.com.

• To run the service: create, host, send and track your proposals.
• To generate drafts, rewrites and images with AI when you ask for them.
• To take payments and manage your subscription.
• To send account, security and proposal notification emails.
• To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent abuse.
• To understand how the product is used, so we can improve it.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

When you use AI features, the relevant content, such as your prompt and the proposal you're working on, is sent to an AI model provider to produce the result. We use their business APIs, under which your content isn't used to train their models.

We use trusted service providers to run Prosper ai. They may only use your information to provide their service to us:

• Hosting and databases: Railway, Neon, Amazon Web Services and Vercel
• Sign-in: WorkOS
• Payments: Stripe
• Email delivery: Resend
• AI models: Groq, Anthropic, OpenAI and fal.ai
• Error monitoring and product analytics: Sentry, PostHog and Vercel Analytics

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

Our providers store data in several countries, including Australia, Singapore and the United States. When we send information outside New Zealand, we rely on providers that protect it to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.

We keep your information while your account is active. After you close your account, we delete or anonymise it, except where we need to keep it for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or to resolve disputes. Signature records are kept as long as they may be needed as evidence of an agreement.

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings and measure how the site and app are used. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the app won't work without them.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it. Email hello@weprosperai.com and we'll respond within 20 working days. If you're not happy with our response, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We use encryption in transit, access controls and separate data for each organisation to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, we'll notify you and the Privacy Commissioner.

Prosper ai is for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 16.

We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we'll let account holders know by email before they take effect.
